Inspection prior to warranty expiring

Hello,

I have posted in the D3 A8/S8 forum as well but wanted to to get some opinions from some local folks. The manufacturer warranty on my S8 is about to expire (in a month). I bought an extended warranty (NAC) but would like to get things checked and problems fixed under manufaturer warranty if possible.

What are the things that I should get checked and where/what kind of inspection would you recommend. I typically go to HBL of Tysons or Chantilly but there might be a good indy shop that might do a better job. I am located near Reston.

For those who might be interested, I ended up going to Drake Auto in Sterling for my inspection. He found a few small things that I am not sure the dealer would have looked at (front bushings were starting to crack, some oil - you really had to look hard to see it - was seeping from the transmission oil plug and an other bubble on one of my tire - I have been through 2 tires in 6 months

).

My car is at the dealer hoping they will address under warranty the first two items.
