Default How do we upload our pics for phone contacts in mmi

when using the voice commands for your favorite phone contacts with voice tages a blank picture icon like in itunes when you have no album cover shows up. Seems to imply you can upload a pic. Tried using an sd card but my pic was not readily read media (no music on it) when mmi tried to read it.

I'm still trying to get mine to download my phonebook. If I can manage that this week, I'll pay attention to the pics because I use those also.

There seems to be a lot of limitations/stipulations on what the Directory will handle.

The car should automatically download the cell's phonebook just after they are paired. I did have to import mine in vcard format via an SD card because the car would only download 10 contacts then think it was done.

The vcard format import does work very well, took about 3 seconds, in case anyone has to do that.

Yes, my car does import my phonebook, but not my contacts photos

Did you map your contacts to the vcard in any special way? I loaded contacts via SD card import yesterday and the addresses did not come over very well

No. I use Gmail and just exported from there using the vcard format. I haven't gone through the car directory in detail, probably should, but what I've seen/used has been correct. I don't use the phone that much in the car though...

Default Bump: Can you attach a photo to a contact in the MMI Directory?

Hello all: This is the only thread on the internet I could find addressing the question, but with no resolution.

To reiterate: is it possible to attach the photo of a contact within the directory of the MMI? For example, whenever a call comes up, there is an icon to the right of the contact information that looks like an empty person, indicating it is the placeholder for a photo. Is it possible to include a photo of the contact to supplant that placeholder?

I tried the SD card (vCard) import method mentioned above. While it imported the contact information just fine, it did not import a photo for the contact.

Is is possible to add a photo to a contact? If so, how?

Thanks!
