Rescue a classic coupe in Ohio-or go racing with us?
Hi Guys, good news/bad news. I've had this amazingly solid 1981 Audi Coupe here in Ohio for sale for the past year, and nobody seems to want it at $1500/obo, so I am taking it racing. A few friends and I are going to gut her and enter it in the Crapcan 25hr endurance race at Nelson ledges Road Course in October.
I know I'm going to hear a lot of guys saying what a shame to ruin a great rare car, so here is your chance. Unless some Audi lover comes to me with 1K and rescues her, the cage installation begins next week. She will make an amazing solid race platform, very little rust and many, many fresh parts. Anyone wanting interior stuff (dash?) or door panels let me know.
