Default Good valve job in MI

Its a bit off topic: My friend (and sooner or later, me too) is trying to find a really good shop who still knows how to machine cylinder heads, seat the valves and matches the height.

I am in MI between Lansing and Detroit, so anything in this wider area would.

In his case: he is rebuilding his built Nissan 350Z engine, and the valves where suspicious (compression not great, leak down not as good as it could be, etc.). He (for now) wants to stay with his hydraulic lifters.

So he looking into new valves, and a valve job for the heads.

What shops can be recommended?
