Just screw the adaptor in, it doesn't need to be very tight, and then make a jumper to bridge the two contacts of the connector to make the compressor clutch work.
Hi, where is this low pressure switch located at? I was reading this as my is a 1995 audi 90 2.8afc engine thanks
Duane, Mi. Also? Just order that kit number online or at NAPA stores? Correct?

I don't know about the Audi 90; mine's an A4. But you should have a low pressure switch somewhere on the larger line returning to the compressor from the firewall area.

On the A6 C4 cars the low pressure switch is located on the passenger side underneath the plastic cowl at the base of the windshield.

There designed to be filled from the high side. When using an a/c recharge and recovery machine, when filling it usually asks, fill with HI or LO side? I think you fill with the engine off from the high side. From what my old school manual shows. Engine off, Hook the can up to the high side, and put the can in hot water. the temperature difference forces the refrigerant into the system. Kind of a silly way but its in factory audi/vw manuals.
