Default mr yw

I have a 2004 A8L with 88000 miles. In general the car is amazing.
in the last few months i have a strange problem which i think is a computer or electrical. driving at 65 mph suddenly the car loses
all electrical power and engine for less then 1 second ,and then the power comes back, like nothing happened.( 2 times in 10 min!!)
i drove after 300 miles with no problem . any idea where to look?
no warranty and it only happens very very rarely.

Well this forum is really for PCs not car computers - you should post your question in the A8 forum. I'll try to answer your question. Your car stores info on incidences like this and it can be read by a Ross Tech VAG-COM. If you do not have a good Audi mechanic you can trust and want to do your own maintenance they you should purchase one. It could be something as simple as your battery is going bad or the alternator. Other factors could be a relay. Hope this helps
