My S5 is at the dealer right now and I am driving a 2011 Q7 TDI loaner with the Bose and I think the sound is way better from the Bose than the B&O. I thought the B&O was the top of the line. I have had my friends tell me it sounds a liitle "tinny". I have messed with the settings serval times on different songs. I have it sounding the best right now but I still think the Bose sounds better. I am wondering if it is because the Q7 is much bigger with more airspace.

I have the BOSE in my '06 S4 and my wife has the B&O in her '09 A5 and although the BOSE sounds good, the B&O is better. I would say it was probably because of the size of the Q7's cabin helping it out.

Must be nice to have a good loaner. S4 is in for 65k service with bad motor mounts. Tried to go without loaner but now they can't get it done until Monday and tada, A5 gets a flat. So I call dealer to get a loaner and get a '05 A4 2.0T FWD with 66k on it that smells like crap. Hate the 2.0T!! Can't understand why they put that in anything above an A3. 2.0T and FWD = worthless.

I've owned both back to back and IMHO the B&O has better sound.

I don't know guys I still have my loaner and I really like the bose When I get my car back I am going to play with the settings one more time. BTW my loaner a 2011 Q7 only had 900 miles on it and it still smelled new lol.

BOSE is crap. They do however have some excellent marketing people who have managed to convince the american public that they are "high-end" audio manufacturers.

I use to own a Q7 with Bose and have an S4 with B&O, personally the Bose had more bass but the B&O system is better defined with more space around the instruments.

I listen to all music. From George Strait to Lady Gaga, Eminem, matchbox 20 to Old church hymns. Really can't do hard core rap. I have tried CDs iPod and sd cards. I keep getting a tinny sound. The Bose has deeper bass and takes the tinny out I think. Can someone please post some pics of there settings and I will see if I have mine set wrong.
