R8/RS6/TTRS Steering Wheel on a B8 A4?
Does anyone know if I can buy and safely fit one of the R8, RS6 or TT RS flat bottom, paddle shifting steering wheels on my 2009 A4?
I want to have the paddle shift and airbag working as designed without any risk of the wheel, airbag or paddles not working properly.
Is this possible? Where would I find a reliable wheel dealer? How did I do the install (wheel, airbag, paddles operational)?
I'm looking to do this because I'm pretty tall and I want paddle shifting, so trying ot create a win for my knees and my love of driving this car!

It can be done. Here's a great site for all the stuff this guy has figured out on the B8 stuff.
This is the basic DIY:

Here is where you can source the parts (other than US & German eBay):

Check with Alex@Europrice. He sourced my TT-S Line flat bottom wheel with paddle shifters and can get just about any of the other OEM options out there for very reasonable prices. Just installed last week and it's awesome!
