Default Motorola Droid 2

I recently purchased a Motorola Droid 2 through Verizon. Unfortunately the phone is not synching with the phone book in my 2005 A6. I have not experienced this problem with any of the prior phones that I have used with the car during the last 5 and 1/2 years. Has anyone succesfuly synched a Motorola Droid 2 with their car. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kevin

Try deleting the incoming and outgoing call log in your phone and then repairing. Has worked for me and a bunch of others with various different phones.

My Droid X (similar) paired just fine and while it took forever (several minutes, maybe 10?) to transfer my contact list the firs time, those (and the call log) seem to appear very quickly now since that first pairing.

I did this about a month ago. It took some doing, but I was able to set it up after some fussing about. Very annoying because I actually had to refer to the owners manual. It should have been easier. Sorry, I don't remember the details, but it can be done.
