Default Great news for orange side marker haters.

Hi All,

I took the $35 gamble on an 07 A3 Sline bumper CLEAR side marker fitting in my car. I have an Sline bumper and found that the A3 Sline light fits almost perfect. The only difference I found was a slight curve in the middle of the light which made that part slightly raised. The outside fit perfect in the hole and snapped right in. I showed it to someone and they did not even notice the issue until I pointed it out.

I will post the pics once I make the change since that bumper is currently in my shed. The bumper on my car has no side markers at all.

I cannot confirm if they will fit a non Sline bumper but it looks identical.

My bumper is in storage but here is a pic of the lights.

Part numbers are not required since it will not be an Audi part. Audi does not make a clear replacement.

This is where I bought from for $35 but I am not a big fan of the seller. Read on if you want to know why...

Also Available from ecstuning and they look better and comes in smoke but its $49.95. I would have gotten these if I was sure it would fit. They look more OEM. The ebay ones has a little crystal look that made it look ricey.

I am not a big fan of the ebay seller since I asked if they were willing to negotiate a small discount since I was not sure if it will fit. Maybe sell at cost + shipping and I proposed to do a writeup and send links to their ebay post if it fits. If it didnt fit then they dont lose anything but I bare all risks. Obviously they declined and they said its for an A3 period.

I took the plunge and now they may get your money. If it werent for helping you guys out I would have not let anyone know so its less profit for them.

Default I would think so all the side markers are identical, no?

I wouldnt think audi would make a seperate side marker just for the S6.

Default ...

All C6 lights look the same and a member here who swapped his regular bumper to an S6 didn't have to change the light so I assume you should be good.

I am going to sand it. Dremel would be overkill. Its not that much.
