he. I would keep it chrome. Ive seen a blacked out Q7 and i hated it. I was thinking "how could you do that to a great car." Also, the chrome makes the Q7 look a bit more upmarket. Black the chrome out and it will just look normal

no mate. Id just leave it as it is. the chrome pillars will make the car stand out a bit too much. I think it will look a bit.... tacky.

The pillars are not good looking. Looks like the owner want a Cayenne instead of a Q7. It is obvious to most people that it is not original, and therefore a no go for me.
Black vs Chrome window trim. It is a matter of taste, and the color of the car also matters. The black looks rely good on white cars, and the chrome looks very good on black cars. My taste has been for a long time, that the chrome makes the car nicer. But in my opinion now, the chrome is what makes a car “normal” since most cars come with it. It is more seldom to see a Q7 with black trim, and maybe therefore more unique? |

I think that German cars should look, well German. European looking that is. If I wanted a black SUV with big chrome wheels, chrome door handles, chrome grill, chrome mirrors, I would have bought a piece of crap Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator. IMHO the Q7 looks sporty and clean with euro lines and is ruined by adding these gawdy add ons.
