Default Brand new to AudiWorld and I have a question...

Is there a very subtle difference in the body (mouldings, bumpers?) style of an 06 versus 07 Audi A6? I feel like there is, but can't say for certain. Is this difference eliminated if I go with an S-Line? I prefer that slightly more aggressive styling and slightly larger rims than the standard.

I love cars, and for about a month now have been researching and pondering the A6. I look fwd to learning more from you guys.

06 and 07 exteriors are the same. Audi did make the S-Line exterior standard in 08.

Thanks! At Nashville Motorsports there is an '08 4.2 with premium sport wheels for like $27,000. The mileage is pretty high for such a young car...71,000. Of course it has navi, but also sun shades and the premium Volterra leather (what's the difference?).

What about the interior and under the hood ('06 vs '07)? The one I mentioned in earlier post seems pretty rare (4.2, quattro, 19" wheels that come on S8, etc). Just apples to apples what's the diff between those years on a 3.2, quattro, navi? It seems that maybe more '07's have larger wheels than '06?

Thanks for your help!

a 4.2 s line with 27k miles sold early feb 10 for 33k bucks. so 27k seems a little high with that mileage

Thanks. That's a big help. From your experience (or anyone else who's reading this) is 71k miles a little scary? I'm sure that's near a mileage point for a major service. I've driven japanese cars, so really I've been a little spoiled with the lack of maintenance required, but Im ready to make the switch to Audi! I think they're asking like $27,900 on their website. Of course it's their "online price". I can't figure out these online prices. They infer that it's their best price, but I'm sure that's not the case. Most online prices do seem pretty competitive, so I'm not sure it's the same thing as their "on the lot sticker price" where you can beat 4k out of the salesman.

71K is a lot of miles, but engine is still young compared to Japanese engines. There is the long term question about gas prices though. . .

Thanks, is there major service that should have been done between 60K-71K? I'd like to seem fairly educated when/if I negotiate this. I'm sure they'll let me take it to a mechanic and get it checked out. Anything in particular I should tell mechanic to keep an eye out for?
