Default Wood Grain

Ok, ok, two posts on 2 different topics in a short period of time, so I apologize for the thread bombing in advance... Last thread for a while, I promise.

Does anyone know where I can get wood grain inserts for the Q5 other than the dealer? Just checked the total on them again and they seem to have gone up... Now they are $4500 for a full set plus install, which officially puts them in my "not worth it" category. Anyone know if there are any online retailers selling them or if there is a wholesaler for the Audi stuff that sells the Wood Grain Inserts? I'm itching to get rid of the S-Line trim. The trim I am looking at is either the stock premium dark wood or the the preferred flat wood finish (non-lacquer)

Thank you Yob! Do you know if the wood trim packages are OEM or if they are a perfect fit? I just did not want to get one of those "peel and stick" I'm trying to achieve the factor look.

Thanks for the link!

YW. Looking forward to the pics and how the installation goes, I know there are others interested in replacing the aluminum trim in the S-Line as well.

Hi, I'm bringing this thread alive after 18 months!!

Any updates on this yob2kanobe?

Did you get the brown ash inserts installed? How much did you end up paying to have them installed?

Any pics?

I'm considering getting the brown ash inserts to replace my aluminum inserts in a beige interior.

Thanks!
