Default Oil probe stick broke in the guide pipe

I everyone,

My motor oil probe stick was broke and about 10 inch of the end.
It was made like a fiberglass material.
The rest of the stick is stay in the guide pipe and I really don't know how to remove it.

I imagine to collect a vacuum and try to pump oil from the guide pipe hoping that the broken probe coming out....

Hope that it will not go in the motor....

If anyone have a idea....

You could just remove the pipe and fish out/replace the dipstick?

They aren't pricey either: Click here for ordering details

ok good,

I have buy a bunch of product on your website.

But how to remove the probe pipe?
I did'nt look at yet.

I also buy the indoor hood handle that is broken.
Is their a way to have the hood wire more easy.
Mine is very toff to pull and I think this is the reason the handle broke..

I also need and antenna booster, my radio don't have a good radio receive anymore abd the forum say that this is the antenna booster.

Thanks.

Ok,

The dipstick tube connects to the block, you can trace it with a flash light. Also though, there is a plastic upper portion that you may be able to remove and snag your old diptick out from.

As for the hood business. Your cable may be seizing up and or your latch may be rusting. Oil the latch and see if that helps. You can't really oil the cable. Investigate your latch and go from there.

Click here for ordering and pricing details for a new cable and a new release handle for the inside of your car.

I had the very same problem happen to me. As Chris said, the dipstick tubes connects to the block. I jacked up the car, removed the belly pan, and traced the tube to the block. After a little wiggling, the tube came out of the block. Then I just pulled the bottom broken half of the dipstick out, reinserted the tube, and put in the new dipstick. It is a pretty simple fix. Good luck
