Default drivng lights?

i'm finding the high beams on my car aren't that very effective. I'm looking at buying some driving lioghts for car. So far the hella 500 driving lights with the free form reflectors seems like a good choice. Any other lights in the same price recommended by someone?
thanks

I do not know much about alternative lights for your 5000 but there appears to be someone selling some "HIDs Hi/Low for Audi 100/200/5000" in the classified section here.

best of luck

Find some Eurolights for your car. Then relay them.

Watch Fleabay, Audifans Marketplace and the classifieds here and on other forums.

Audi's DOT headlights from that era were terrible.

I know, it doesn't feel safe at all with my stock headlights. I'm finding it really hard to find parts in canada, i just don't want to deal with the hassle of cross border shipping. I was interested in some fog or driving lights just so i could put some high wattage bulbs in and throw out some serious light. I live in really rural area.

Hella 500s are a good buy. Before the rise of HID lighting they were practically standard issue in club rallies. I had heard they were being discontinued.

definitely! they just upgraded them too by offering them in a more focused beam by having a free form reflector instead of the standard parabolic reflector.

on a side note, does anybody know of a good canadian website that sells hella 500's, i've looked everywhere online and can only find them through US sites.

Yah I had the same problem in my V8. I cured that with hid low beams. Now I dont even touch the high beams. I got mine from www.vvme.com for under $100 Lots of other members got kits from there to. Both my cars and my moms car is running kits from them.
