Default Help in deciding which car to go with

I realize this is an Audi forum and the answers may be biased, but I just need some opinions.

My company provides me with any leased vehicle of my choice and will cover up to C$900 / month in lease payments (including taxes) and up to $5000 down (yes, I know it's a sweet benefit to continue to have in times like these and I'm very grateful).

Right now, I have an 07 328xi coupe whose lease is expiring in a few months. I'm looking for something to replace it, and I'm considering an A5 and the new E-class coupe. These are more or less within the budget allotted to me, but I'm open to other makes / models.

I considered a 335xi coupe to replace it as I love my 328xi, but I want to try something different.

What would your top 3 choices be if you were in my position, and why?

Nice to have this benefit. A5 for the uniqueness, styling and interior.

Nice benefit. You really haven't given us much info to go on. Much depends on who you are, how old, any wife or kids, what kind of sports you may be in to, other vehicles you may have, and what area of the U.S.A. you live in. Taking all of that into consideration go with the A5 anyways, it covers all bases.

Those were the exact three cars I was considering when I was shopping. I didn't like the Mercedes at all. Came down to the 335xi or the A5. After several weeks I decided on the A5. Two main reasons: in those few weeks I saw so many BMW's on the road that I am sick of them. Plus the interior is so no frills, stereo sucks and you can feel EVERY bump in the road. Oh wait that was four things! Audi is just more classy. Yes, the BMW is faster but realistically does that really matter unless you are a guy with a small one!

30 years old, live in Toronto, have a gf, no kids. This will be my only car. I usually have two at a time (one my own, one a corporate lease) but I sold my car a few months ago as I realized I don't really need two cars.

I think it's going to be between the A5 and E350. Have a test-drive scheduled for the latter this weekend.

Where I live is yuppie central; tons of BMW's, Audis, Benzes abound, so none of the brands will be unique or special.

Are you totally satisfied with your A5, or do you wish you got something else instead?

Most peeps here will say #1 A5/S5 (me included). #2 for me was an Infinity G37. It was nice, performance was great, but didn't like it when I stood next to it.... as MUCH as the A5 S-line. The A5 had a unique feel/look that I couldn't find in the G37. #3..on was beemers, mercs, etc...made me ill with a feeling of conformity.

E350 ...naw, I just don't see someone 30 yrs old in that car. I live in a very VERY upscale neighborhood and the only ones driving that MB model are much older women. You also say there are lots of Audi's where you live, but I bet not many are A5's or S5's.
I am in no way putting down MB, but over the last 5-10 yrs, in my area, MB has fallen by the way side in favor of Audi by a ratio of about 1 MB to every ten Audi's.

The E-class is about to be totally redesigned. I'd pass on it or at least the current model. It's a lame duck.

If someone else was paying for it I'd say the S5. If I'm paying (and I am) I'd say the G37. I have to have value when my money is involved, maybe I'm just too cheap? LOL
