Default A5 Cab Engines

I took my A4 cab for service yesterday. The service guy gave me an advance copy of the A5 cab brochure. It has the following:

A5 Cab 2.0 TFSI 0-60 mph: 6.8 seconds
A5 Cab 3.2 FSI 0-60 mph: 6.7 seconds
S5 Cab 3.0 TFSI 0-60 mph: 5.1 seconds

The 3.2 will probably be more expensive than the 2.0 and the difference in the 0-60 times is only 0.1 second.

Yes, there is a $3300 difference between the 2.0T and the 3.2 in the current A4 lineup. Hard to justify unless you really prefer high-rpm HP over low-end torque. There are lots of people that will still be interested in the 3.2 who think the 2.0 is not "refined" enough for a luxury car, but I'm a big fan.

I'm going to trade my A4 cab for an A5 cab in about 6 months or so. The service guy told me that A5 cabs will arrive around September. The 2.0T I have now actually has a lot of pep in sport mode and I'm getting around 22.0 to 22.5 mpg combined city/highway (miles driven/gallons filled and not the computer).
