Default Storing a Q7...looking for suggestions

We plan on storing our Q7 for a year. What should be done to the vehicle prior to putting it into storage

Nice dogs, by the way which dual dvd's do you have. Also what are the ways that you can listen to the audio from the dvd's. Can you listen to the audio thru the car speakers. If so can the front passengers listen to the radio thru the front speakers while the kids are listening to a wathching and listening to a dvd thru the rear speakers.

Probably I would put some fuel stabilizer in the gas tank or dain the gas tank and raise the car on jack stands so the weight of the q7 is off of the tires to prevent flat spots on tires.

Check out "Transport Mode". It is a Vag-com setting that puts the car into low diagnostic level for long period of storage or delivery. It will also suspend the time function on the service schedule AFAIK.
That coupled with trickle charge or timer trickle and the other suggestions should see you through.

We winterize our rib in a similar fashion with fuel treatment and run through procedure. It protects injectors and pumps, lines and tank from fuel deterioration over long period.

Best of luck, report back at some stage.
I hope this reply is some use, sorry its so late.
