Default What is the best way to connect LCD TV to HDTV cable box?

My boss had a 50" LCD tv that stopped working. I took it home and fixed it so I have a $2900 tv that cost me $38. And even though I can fix a tv I don't knw anything about home theater.

I have the following ports on the TV: VGA in, DVI-D, S video, and 3 RCA type females Red/Blue/Green (and a 75ohm coax which I know i shouldn't use).

I have the following on the Cable Box: S-video, the blue/red/green RCA jacks and HDMI.

TIA......

You need a HDMI to DVI cable - that will be the best

Second best is the component (the RCA blue/red/green)

DVI-HDMI is your best option if your cable box is a long way from the TV, but R/G/B will be just as good over short distance runs.

I define long as anything more than 20 feet.
