A4 Quattro Rear Speed/ABS Axle sensor question
Just a quick question, because I think I answered it myself. the bearings were seized and I replaced the whole spindle, anyway, the speed sensor RING on the axle was broken (the ring the sensor looks at)...yes broken...can you replace that ring without replacing the whole axle or is it part of that assembly and the whole assembly needs to be replaced? Thanks.

Well - some of them *can* come off/are pressed on... but as far as i know you can not buy them anywhere. And in order to press it on you'd have to have the axle out of the car etc etc so you may as well replace the whole thing since I think you'd have to anyway.
