All lights work EXCEPT low beams...

Hight beams, driving lights, blinkers, tail lights all work, just not the low beams. Its like the first position (parking lights) and the 2nd position (head lights) are the same. I already have known working steering column stalks on the way, but I have read it could also be the ignition switch? Is this true?

car is a 1989 200 TQ Avant.

Did you check the bulbs yet? It's probably the column switch.

This was the problem with mine when the lowbeams did not work and all the rest did!

Do you have e-codes, or the stock headlights?

I guess it is the switch... I will try cleaning mine for a temp soloution until my new-to-me stalks arrive.
