Default Grr. Accident. Had nothing to do with snow, actually.

I was just in a car accident. Everyone is ok. Woman in a jeep pulls out from a side street from a stop sign while talking on a cell phone and doesn't see me coming. I don't have a stop sign, can't avoid her, and I hit her at about 30mph. Car behind me swerves to avoid the accident and hits a parked car. There is a blizzard going on here but that had nothing to do with it. Stupid woman. Grrr. I loved my car.

Damage to front from initial impact. Radiator leaking. I didn't try to lift hood to check for other damage since the hood itself was damaged.

Damage to rear quarterpanel and rear door resulting from secondary impact as cars spun and rear ends struck each other.

Another view of damage to front.

Culprit's car. Bumper cover torn off, damage to internals including punctured radiator.

Damage to rear of culprit's car as a result of secondary collision. She admitted guilt to me and a witness.

The car behind me was a new A6, it had minor damage from hitting the parked car and took off before my wife arrived with the camera.

Damn, sorry. Weather aside, it could have been much worse. Cars are replaceable, but it is heartbreaking when you have one you just love.

On to the insurance fun.

Default Yes, it does. And she has a funny last name...

I couldn't make this up. Her last name was "Fales."

Default Yikes, that sucks... Especially the reason why, not the accident itself

Some folks can barley drive in this snow let alone talk and drive.
