Default anyone retrofit a "lane changer" blinker stalk to one of our cars?

You know, the kind that blinks 3 times when you tap the stalk.

One of the coolest (and yes, simplest) features that was on my B7 Avant. Even my Vette has it. Ironically I took a Saab Turbo X for a test drive and it did not have this feature. Kinda weird, a GM (US) product made in Kentucky with this European feature but a GM (Sweden) product that lacked it.

Just wondering.

I agree that's a great feature. If it's a matter of changing a relay it would be a nice improvement. The first car I experienced this feature on was an 02 A4. Interesting that Saab doesn't offer it but the Vette does. IMHO Saab is not what they used to be. That SUV is silly. It's a reheated trail blazer and their sales reflect that. I still like the 93 convert but that's about all.

I used to have an 87 900 SPG. Now that was a Saab. Quirky, key on the floor, had to be in reverse to start it etc etc. Loved that car.

yes, someone over on that "other site" said it might be just a matter of a relay from a newer car

the first time I experienced it was on an Opel Vectra (i.e., Cadillac CTS with a 4 cyl engine and 5-spd) in Germany, also in 2002 and on a B6 Audi

On the relay point, I do know that you can change the sequence on the windshield wipers by changing the relay for it with a newer style verson, did this swap on the 5ktq and V8q 5spd. Maybe it is something similar for the turn signal? Possibly, just thinking out loud.
