Default What's the most energetic .22LR round?

CCI Stinger used to be pretty hot. I think CCI MiniMags were faster but with an even lighter bullet. Curious what's out there these days.

Goal would be most reliable cycling of the slide in a small .22LR auto pistol. (Yeah, I know ANYTHING other than .22LR for reliable - just curious what ammo would be best to focus on.)

Default According to claims its the CCI Velocitor with the Stinger right behind.

I shoot stingers in my Browning Buckmark 5.5 Target... don't know why, just like the clean cartridge look and packaging.

Default I always had very good results with Aguilla ammo...

I've used a number of their different .22 loads, but for my .22 insert in the AR, I used the Interceptor. It's claimed to be the fastest .22 load on the market. I don't know if that's true, but it's gone 'BANG' and cycled every time I've squeezed the trigger on it.[list][*]<a href="http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=DVW5ARAE3AXA1LAQBBJCCOFMCAEFGI WE?id=0053414216498a&type=product&cmCat=fr oogle&cm_ven=data_feed&cm_cat=froogle& cm_pla=0350103&cm_ite=0053414

Default Interesting stuff, Velocitor might be exactly what I was hoping for - energetic 40gr

I'll snag a box or two to play with!

Default FWIW, unscientific palm-dyno says Stinger still more energetic than Velocitor

Apparently either cycles fairly well, now to debug/fix the light strikes

Default Yeah, my plan exactly - maybe polish it before putting it back in. Thanks for the confirmation!
