Default Audi Q5 is available in configuratior on Audi.de

Available options may be interesting (for those who can understand German). You won'be able to use Google Translate as the configurator is made using Flash.

Default 9.100 Euro difference between 2.0TDI and 3.0TDI...yikes

2.0TDI w/ manual base $38.300 Euro,
3.0TDI w/S-Tronic base $47.400 Euro

If these prices for the 3.0TDI eventually hold over to the USA, I will have to reconsider the 3.0TDI if availalbe and simply move on to another vehicle entirely.

Default The difference in the A5 and Q7 is less so there's hope

From Audi.de and audiusa.com

A5 3.2FSI 44,600EUR ($40,300 for a 3.2FSI in US)
A5 3.0TDI 45,500EUR

Q7 3.6FSI 50,700EUR ($46,900 3.2FSI Premium)
Q7 3.0TDI 51,500EUR

So if the US Q5 3.2 hits at $38,300 perhaps the base 3.0TDI ~$40k

What's shocking is the Q7 4.2TDI 71,000EUR!

Default If you look into details, additional options are standard ...

for 3.0TDI like S-tronic, 18" wheels, multifunction steering wheel, which obviously add up to price as well (I would say 2,5-3 grands).
