And I still haven't seen a Japanese car that can best the interior quality of the Germans.

Japanese car makers that is, Lexus has a fine interior much better than BMW IMO, I don't know about Audi though. and while the G37 may "look" boring in your opinion, it will spank the **** out of any A4 on the road or track in the hands of any halfway decent driver, which is what I believed sports cars were all about?

Second, I've seen a pretty new G sedan at VIR and that one by no means was *spanking* anything.
As its been beaten to death here, More HP does not always equal the faster car. I've got a 25 year old 944 with an 8V, 148 HP 4-cyl. On the track I can run with cars nearly twice the HP. A Stage III B5S4 can be a monster in a straight line, but since its a nose heavy pig, the balance is all out of whack in the turns, and I can catch them there every time. If I'm shopping for an A4, the G37 would never make it onto my list as cars to compare to. And that's just me. But it seems that you are probably biased against the Audi. |

but both pale in comparison to the A5, which INHO is drop dead sexy.
I look at the G37 and think, "It a nice looking car." I look at the A5/S5 and say out loud, "Whoa!" |

spank on the track...? who gives a ****?! How often can you really go to the track in a year? I sure as hell don't want to blow my warranty along with wear and tare on my everyday ride for 3 track days. Let's see, diffs, turbos, heads, tranny's = $$ (and that's when I keep it on the track). A rwd way-second-hand Porsche or some other little sports car makes more sense.
By the way, the G37's are soft and feminine looking with those rounded panels. I like the ur G35's much better. The only thing I prefer about the Nissans is the reliability and resale. Silly rabbit...

-- because of its speed its really a better competitor for the 335 bimmer which makes it a closer competitor to the S4 to come.
It also is a guzzler of gas. Dont care what the EPA says but the 3.5-3.7 liter nissan V6 gets -- mid high teens to low twenties at best of you are even a little aggressive. My A4 will do much better than that mpg-wise, it will be an Avant -- which is not something the G-series will be offering anytime soon, --and it will be slower. And thats OK. There will be an s-version thats smokes it. Oh yeah -- how is the awd system on the infiniti?
