Default Manual transmission question

I haven't owned a manual in 20 years but got one when I ordered my A5. I remembered how much fun it was. I'm going to be a little rusty when the car finally shows up so here's my question. To keep from drifting back on a hill and since I assume the parking brake is electronic (not the old hand lever)can you use the electronic brake to keep from drifting? Eventually I expect to get my timing skills back with the clutch, just wanted to know if this would work. Thanks

Default Yes - works well. The "Hill Hold" feature automatically releases the engaged p-brake...

... once you begin to roll forward. You must have your seat belt on for it to work, but the operation is quite seamless.
