Default Ordered A5 S line yesterday

Since I got rid of my Brilliant Red S4 I've been dying to get back into another red Audi, and Misano is a great red... like it better than Brilliant or the other reds.

2 Door Coupe 6-speed auto quattro (8T35FL)
Premium Package (WPX)
Technology Package (PTA)
S line Package (WQB)
Audi Navigation Plus (PND)
Front grille filler panel (6W9)
Misano Red Pearl Effect (N9N9)
Black interior default (GD)

Default Congrats Jason. If you have time, let us know how the 3.2 drives...

.... I'll be picking up an A5 in September and am planning on picking up a 2009 3.2 manual (unless the new 2.0T pops up at that time). There's a dearth of info on the 3.2 out there, so any impressions are greatly appreciated!

Default I've had my 3.2 A5 Manual for a month now....

I love the car! It is not the fastest car out there, but it certainly has enough power to make my commute entertaining. Sixth gear at 70 mph on the highway has enough guts to get you up to 85-90 in a few seconds, without the need to downshift. Should you choose to downshift to fourth, the power is great. Off the line, I find the power adequate, if not a bit slower than the '05 Infiniti G35 sedan I traded for the A5 (G35 had RWD and 298 HP).

The gadgets are the icing on the cake. I find the B&O stereo to be outstanding. The iPod connection is fantastic and the sound quality is clear and LOUD. The adaptive headlights amaze me everytime I fly around a curvy road at night.

I have 1200 miles on it now and haven't had any issues and I'm averaging about 24 mpg in my daily commute of stop and go traffic on the highway.

Default 24 mpg is very impressive for the 3.2...

.. that's what my 2.0T A4 gets combined on a good day.

Your engine performance impressions are pretty consistent with other 3.2 owners: More-than-adequate but not earth shattering.

A 2.0T A5 may hit dealerships by the time I'm ready to purchase in late 08. That engine actually pumps out more stock torque than the 3.2.

Anyway, my heart is still set on the 3.2, so I appreciate the impressions.

Default Nice car!... You got everything but the B&O?

B&O is totally worth the $850 IMO. How long is your wait?
