Default Question: How much do you think a base model A5 will be?

Default MORE. Just look at 335 price, and clone.

Remember that Audi wants to "up-value" its cars, and the 335 should be a competitor...

I say $40,000 as entry price, probably somewhat higher because Audi typically seems to have more options as base, with bimmers skyrocketing as you add the goodies.

Default Flirting with 50 Large

U.S. is looking at the V8 as a base engine. Of course, Audi has been known to change things around at the last minute.

Default I'll bet you 14 bucks that there isn't

They talked about this in August last year at the presentation and apparently mentioned that the V8 would be the lowest option in the U.S. It's also specified on multiple wesites. Of course, we don't know if things will change within the next 8 - 9 months, but chances are they won't. This is supposed to be a model with emphasis on sport.
