Default 25k service: 2 problems found - both front shocks needs replacing & intake manifold

1) I've had suspension clonks for a while and mentioned to the dealer, but this time I mentioned that I thought the front right shock was leaking. They told me both are leaking and will replace under warranty as soon as they get the parts. They managed to find one side, but not the other and had to order from Germany.

2) My EPC warning light has been intermittent (comes on about once a month) and has been diagnosed by the dealer twice before with Audi's tech line. Having previously replaced a sensor they now say the intake manifold has to be replaced per Audi and parts had to be ordered.

Here is the interesting bit: I happened to speak with the tech when I picked up my car and he said "there is a tsb available for this issue but it has not been published yet". There has been a software update released related to this issue which my car already had. No doubt we'll hear more on this in the future.

Default Mine was purchased at McDonald but I have had some less than "satisfactory" service

from them in the past so I went across town for the warranty and covered stuff otherwise I do it all myself...

Default I had both front shocks and both valves replaced @10k as well as the intake manifold @ 12k

Good idea to have them do some carbon/gunk cleaning on the valves if they offer the serivce while they have the intake manifold off. I think they charged me around $150 for it, but you can search for my post about it if you want to know the exact amount.

Default Good point on the valve cleaning. I'll remember to mention that when the parts come in.
