Default I gotta say that no intelligent engineer would buy a car in it's first model year.

In fact, I only buy used cars that have PROVEN they are not going to blow up or crack in half or some rubbish. I really want an RS4, but I can wait until they get the bugs worked out.

Anyway, my current car is faster

Default that's good enough to know what I'm talking about. A car is not a fashion accessory.

it is a machine composed of nearly a million parts that you must be able to trust. If it's the first model year, you're a test pilot and you'd better know what that means.

Anybody with a windows PC knows what I mean.

Default Me thinks not an engineer and not...

intelligent. The RS4 is an evolution, a high performance variant of an existing platform. Also, these days, with all the design/parts sharing among models, your first year argument doesn't really apply anymore.

Default hehe. my uncle is a genius who retired from GE in his 40s

and he keeps buying the latest MB/BMW/Lexus etc.. and they always have problems, so he moves onto the next car.

I guess he doesn't realize that their not built to the same standards as the aircraft he designed ;-)
