Default One thought about the clutch on this car..

I have to say that it seems a bit vague. The friction point is not as obvious, I can go more by the fact the car is moving than by an audible cue.

Maybe that is considered better? I am not sure, it's been a while and all the sticks I've driven were pretty dull cheap cars..

I thought the clutch was vague on the S4 as well.

Default Feels fine to me. Similar to the 993TT....

I don't think you want a clutch that engages like an ON/OFF switch. I find it to be just about perfect. Audible clue? Not sure what you are looking for here.

Drive it for a while, then let us know what you think. For comparison, see if you can test drive something else, higher end, with a manual.

Default nothing vague about it imo... engagement point is exactly where it is once you get used to it.

maybe you're futzing around with your seat positions too much or going between thin and thickly heeled/soled shoes...

or maybe it's just going to take several weeks before you get the hang of driving a manual again.

or perhaps it's because the clutch is so light that it's easy to interpret it as vagueness because it takes so little effort to depress it that varying leg strength/fatigue levels throughout the day may give you the false sense that the engagement point is moving on you.

Default audible cue? a clutch isn't supposed to be audible.

Default Guess I have to just get used to it..

I guess the sticks I used to drive were such crap that you could actually hear the clutch engage, lol..

Mine has a little "click" feel to it when disengaging maybe 1 out of 100 times. You can feel a distinctive click in the pedal.

Also at times when engaging the clutch you can feel a slight pulsating feeling, again maybe 1 in 100 engagements.
