Default exterior color questions

Hi, I am at the purchase stage and my only hesitation is the color selection here in the US. question 1: is ice silver different from light silver? in the brochure, it is a little darker, but someone in the forum said the two colors are identical. does anyone have any pics of an ice silver TT? question 2: someone in the forum said that colors only available in Europe can be special ordered in the states, but none of the salespeople I have spoken with are aware of this. Any info about doing this? and 3: in the brochure, interior magma red looks almost moroon but in pics, it looks like crimson red. Is there a not so bright interior red available? thanks for your help

Default answers....

1) Ice silver is practically the same, although as you stated, brochure looks quite darker. Someone has one here, if you seach for ice silver, you should come across it.
2) Yes, can get paint from any other Audi model, cost is $2500
3) From what I'm told, magma is actually darker than pics are showing, believe the flash in the camera makes it look lighter. Don't think you can get different red, other than doing Audi Exclusive, which would be able to go with black seats, with red inserts. I believe that is $1100 on top of the $1100 for extended leather, so $2200 total.

Default 1. Cant help you. 2. You can order any color in the Audi lineup for $2500 bucks that is not a

specific TT color...example, Sprint Blue or Imola Yellow.

3. Magma Red is the only Red Interior option. I do believe that you can do an Audi Exclusive interior for an additional charge also...while it wont let you change the colors, it will allow you to do seat insert colors I believe with say Black leather, and this will turn down the brightness factor.

Magma Red is def a bright Red leather. A crimson color, almost lipstick red. Overtime, as the interior and leather is broken in it will darken a bit to a more bourdeaux color.

Default Ice Silver...

The Ice is more pearl/metallic than the Light silver, as described by some folks in the UK forum. To me it appears to have a more blue-ish undertone than the Light silver. FWIW, I have spec'd the Ice Silver and am looking forward to it.

Default My 3.2TTQC in Ice/Crimson will be delivered next week...I'll park it next to...

something in light silver metallic and post a few pics for comparison. I've already promised to post pics of the exclusive crimson, so look for a post titled something like "Ice Silver/Exclusive Crimson Pix" late next week
