that I believe were originally made for BMW's. PaulW gave me his contact number and I have traded some emails with him. The part is $300 (not cheap), and it mutes the stereo but doesn't work with the steering wheel controls. The link is what Jamie Cooper sent me from a recent ebay auction that describes the device. His email information is jcooper@byersimports.com. On a related front, can you tell me or post a picture as to what your cable looks like for the V60 cradle? I had never paid attention to mine until the other day and I now see that I think the prior owner took the cradle & cable with them, leaving me with only this cable. Is it similar to yours? I would love to try to get this figured out.[list][*]<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLUE-TOOTH-FOR-AUDI_W0QQitemZ8067485016QQcategoryZ38655QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLUE-...NameZWDVWQQrdZ

I have a 2003 A6 that looks like it came with a cell phone prep. It has a plug that looks like this pic. I wanted to know where I can find the connector that would go from this plug to my RAZR or to a bluetooth connection.

BTW the BT part from Jamie works in my 2003 S8 with your same setup. I just installed mine and the speak button works, you can store numbers and use voice tags. I have a Treo 650 that usually doesn't pair with anything and it found the "puck". Only thing that doesn't work is the phone book transfer but you can always use the voice tags or if you know the numbers use the "Dial" function.

I installed this part on my 2003 A4 Avant with OnStar. It paired with my Treo 680 but almost always gives me a terrible connection. There is an electrical interference noise that can be heard by the people who I call and the speaker volume gets very low as soon as the call connects. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
There was a 20 minute period last week where I made and received a couple of calls that were very clear on my end and on the listener's end. Any insight would be really appreciated. Thanks |
