I'm looking to replace my 2001 B5 S4 next year. I'll definitely consider the B8 S4. However, if the BMW 335xi can be had for a few grand or more less than the B8 S4, I may be tempted to go that route.

Read the B8 A4 6 cyl to have only Tiptronic in USA. Same for B8 S4?

I was on my bicycle next to a B8 S4 test mule at a traffic stop today. It sure didn't sound like a turbo V6. hmmmm It sounded more like the V8. I didn't ask to look under the hood
