EOS mount is physically larger than the m42 (or any other 35mm mount for that matter)
Even if you could get an adapter that acts as extension tube, at the expense of infinity focus, you can't operate the aperture But in the end - why? Russian 35mm SLRs are crap, to put it mildly |

but not sure about the other way around. Perhaps try contacting a vintage shop? Several around in NYC if you ever go there.
