Default Vinage camera people

I've got a couple old Russian cameras and an old Sears camera etc. All are M42 screw mounts...I only have one lens and its too long 90-230mm w/3x tele. I was wondering if anyone has heard of an eos/nikon/Zeiss to M42 adapter?! You can get a m42 to eos to put M42 lens on your digital camera etc. I want to put my canon lens on the old Russian bastards!

Default you can't

EOS mount is physically larger than the m42 (or any other 35mm mount for that matter)

Even if you could get an adapter that acts as extension tube, at the expense of infinity focus, you can't operate the aperture

But in the end - why? Russian 35mm SLRs are crap, to put it mildly

Default I know mounts exist to use m42 lenses on Canon bodies

but not sure about the other way around. Perhaps try contacting a vintage shop? Several around in NYC if you ever go there.
