Default Web jpeg quality- weird issues. Help!

When I edit images in photoshop, I can get the colors and saturation just the way I want them. When I upload the image to either my photo host (or even the AW pic poster) the colors appear much more washed out than in pshop. What is going on here? I thought it might have something to do with the web image not possessing as much color info, but it's the exact same file. Is photoshop somehow adding saturation that isn't present on the web image? This sucks.

Here's a screen grab of what I'm talking about:

Default If you're using Adobe RGB colour space you should convert it to sRGB before uploading it.

Default I add some extra saturation to my web images to compensate for this.

The sRGB color space is limted, so I over saturate them a bit and it usually ends up looking decent.
Compared to A-RGB and 16bitt RAWs.....

It just ain't the same though.... ;-(

Default ^what he said!

sRGB and crank up the saturation. I usually end up in the +15 to +20 range.
