It looks like the Q7 will not be called the Q7. The people at Infinity didn't like that the name 'Q' resembles some of there model names...and in turn resulted in a no show of the 'soon to be formely known car; Q7.' This was what I heard, so it could all be false...but seems reasonable, I guess.

Audi isn't going to officially debut the Q7 until Frankfurt auto show in September. It'll probably make it's first "official" showing in the U.S. either in L.A or Detroit in January.

Because what i heard from one of the Audi Representatives at the New York International the Q7 is going to be at Frankfurt. but you never know...
