Why is this pump 1099 dollars? The one for the 1.8 is only 209? something does not make sense. Also why was this not made part of the KO4 kit? If so many people are having problems with gas flow issues at high revs, especially with an apr KO4 kit it should be part of it. Let me know.

I read that it comes with a new ECU upgrade to take avantage of the pump. But what is the $$$ pump by itself?

and APR first takes a brand new OEM fuel pump and then modifies it and then bench tests every unit before shipping. The OEM pumps are assembled in clean room conditions. YOu can get a retrofit kit cheaper but then that unit has never been tested and assembly is easy but up to you. If it fails you can be looking at a catastrophic failure on the FSI setup.
