Default urq/MC1 Flywheel Timing Pin location?

Ok... So I have a I5 turbo flywheel sitting on the bench.

How can I tell if it's from a urq or a MC motor?
(Something like "The pin is XX teeth away from the TDC 0 mark" ?)

As far as I understand, the flywheels are the same except for the location of the timing pin. However, as timing is controlled by the ECU (relative to the pin), adjusting any error introduced by the wrong pin location is not possible.. Not as simple as giving the distributor a crank of a few degrees!

Or related: *IF* I do have a urq flywheel, what happens if I use it on a MC motor & ecu, in terms of spark timing?

Thanks...!

Default Re: MC (and all newer I5s) 62 degrees BTDC, WX 60

So.. Even If I have a WS flywheel on a MC motor, all I'll be doing is running 2deg retarded everywhere. Doesn't sound like a big problem.

But how can I tell what one I have, looking at the flywheel itself?

Regards,
