DTC P1624 on 01 A6 2.7t
My check engine light came on and my back yard mechanic pulled DTC (P1624) from his scanner. He's not an Audi expert but thinks it has to do with an exhaust sensor and the tranny.
The car is running fine. I it's an 2001 A6 2.7t with 91,000. Sweet car but, I may have to claim the dealer as a depenedant this year.
Does anyone on this forum have any thougths or advice.

Rosstech has a good site for DTCs
Looks like the transmission module has a code stored that needs to be retrieved.<ul><li><a href="http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/18032/P1624/005668">http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/18032/P1624/005668</a</li></ul>

Re: DTC P1624 on 01 A6 2.7t
Thanks for the help, I broke down, took it to the dealer and they said it was a torque converter code. They cleared the code and it did not reset. It seems to shift fine. In manual mode it does kick down hard from second to first. Now I have a quandry. Sell or hold. Is this a sign of things to come? Is the check engine light giving me fair warning of future tranny problems? Any thoughts
