Default Hawk HPS pads. are they supposed to be noisy?

I've been running these for less than a month and at first they were quiet. Now it seems to squeek. Is this normal or what?

Default Somewhat

They aren't a completely silent pad. They will make some noises at slower speeds usually.

Default Mine often squeal under light braking, but...

The cure seems to be a few really hard stops to heat things up. Then the squealing under light braking goes away for a week or two.

Overall not a big deal IMHO. I put a ton of brake quieting goop on the caliper/pad interface when I installed the BBK, which may be keeping things relatively quiet.

Default Mine were real squeaky when I had them. Good performance. Bad for the ears.
