Default New Tires...

I've just about reached the end (35k miles) of my OEM Goodyear LS tires and looking for some new shoes. I've been looking at those Michelin Pilot Exalto® A/S because of the reviews from TireRack.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....nSpeedRating=H

Has anyone had any experience with these tires? TIA

Default These are the only all-seasons I would EVER endorse.

I had them on my B5 for a couple of years and they really were an impressive tire for an A/S. Of course, I was living in Las Vegas at the time so they only saw ONE snow usage in their life, but they handled it well.

Default I have the Exaltos

Replaced the OEM Conti's due to sidewall bubbles. The Exalto's ride slightly firmer, just as quiet, and handle much better. I bought them in November and they have seen 4,000 miles in dry, rain, and snowy conditions. Have been great thus far.

I have only one negative comment: The tires seem to be slightly narrower than the Conti's and it exposes the lip of the OEM double spoke alloys. Purely aesthetic. I also considered the Potenza G009 AS. The UHP A/S, as tirerack classifies them, are better in dry handling, sacrifice some snow traction and wear faster.

Default I'm planning on the Goodyear F1 All Seasons

Great reviews on Tire Rack, who compared it to other popular AS tires.
