Default I got the S-line rear valence put on my car yesterday

Here's the scoop... I was looking at a car recently which had some scratches on the rear bumper. The dealership was going to have it repainted.
I told them as long as they are sending the car to the paint shop, I would like to BUY the S-line rear valence, and they would have it painted at the same time as the bumper. (The bumper skin is the same for the S-line and non-S-line cars.)

Well they happened to find me another car with a better bumper, and with xenons. So I bought that one instead. But they still had this other car which needed a repainted rear bumper. So I still bought the valence, and got it painted for free when they did the other car.

I finally went up there and picked up the valence yesterday. Yay.

I would not have bothered with the expense if I had to pay for the paint job. But for $60 for the part, it is a nice little upgrade. My first official mod on the "new" car. :-)

Default That would be a lot more expensive and harder to justify

I would do the front lip & grille before I swapped the decklid.

And I would do the interior brushed aluminum trim before I did that.

But since I am buying a house, I'm not even going to do that. This was a cheap & easy mod, only because the dealership had to paint another car the same color, so I got them to paint the valence at the same time.

Cheers,
P.
