Default Is it just me???

Or did my A4 magically got smoother to drive when I hit 1000 miles this past week (woohoo!)? The change was pretty dramatic, in terms of the shifter. in the past some gears were hard to push in, it was "sticky/notchy", and wasn't as smooth. Just 2 days ago, all of a sudden shifting was as smooth slicing tofu, and the car felt completely broken into.

Never felt such a dramatic difference for a car right after its break-in period, but I am loving the driving right now. Just wanted to share and see if anyone else had the same experience.

Maybe it's a sign to get it chipped! ;-)

Default Similar experience...

...then another one at 20,000km (~12,000 miles). Exhaust note changed and the car seems to respond a bit better.

Default Tinted Windshield

Cool, I still haven't had a chance to take photos of the tinting, but it looks really good. It's been raining a lot here, so waiting for a sunny week to wash my car and then take photos again. Keep looking for it =)

Default A lot of companies tune down the motor for the initial break in period so you dont damage it.....

Although I don't know if Audi does that.

Default I went up to Stasis for the updated X program and I mentioned to them

that the car really opened up at around 5k miles. Pretty dramatic actually and with the Race Program (100 octane) the car REALLY opened up
