Default Can you put a cooler in a sedan trunk?

Just curious to see if any sedan owners have been able to put a normal size cooler in their trunk. Just curious as it pertains to tailgating, camping, etc. Still trying to decide between the avant and sedan. TIA

Default No at least not the cooler I have

Click the image to open in full size.

This one is simialr to what I have and it wont fit in the trunk, unless I lay it on its side. Which renders it useless

Default If you're the camper type, the Avant would be much more practical IMO

As kvanwagoner mentioned, the trunk is pretty deep...but you'll have much more space with the avant

Default Re: Can you put a cooler in a sedan trunk? YES

Yes, but there is a trick. Fold down the back seat, rest the cooler on it and then push it into the trunk. THe dealer showed this to me. Not a good solution but it works. Unfortunately size is limited and you will not be able to open it when it is in the trunk.
