tires

i have a 05.5 2.0TQMT, i dont need tires yet, but i was wondering if anyone knows an average price. i was talking to some people, and ive heard like $600 per tire, which sounds ridiculous to me. does anyone know just an average price? i have the stock 17" pirellis on there now

New tire, even the GREAT Pirellis, should run you about $150 per tire. Check out Discount Tire on the web or Tire Rack. 17 x 7.5 is your tire size?
