Default I have a set of Oettinger RZ's in 18x8 w/ 255/35-18s, 35mm offset.

I'm going to try and test fit them on my 2.0T S-line Avant this weekend. I'll make sure and post some pics if I find the time to do the swap.

Clearance on the rear should be find. I'm worried about the fronts sticking out beyond the fender. I'll keep the forum posted.

Default You should be fine with 255s.

My 18x8.5 ET 35 CHs had the 255/35 18s on them from my B6 A4 Avant when I got my B7 A4. I changed the tire size to 235/40 18s for the B7 - slightly taller tire (25.4" vs 25") and fewer revs per mile (825 vs 819). The slightly wider 255 worked on my car for the first couple of weeks I had it.

Here's how they look with 235/40:

These are with the 255/35s on:

I think when I buy tires again I will probably go back to the 255/35 18s.
