Default X-Post/Repost-ish Drove by the port today to see if any B7's were there and saw a bunch

They had about 40-45 from what was visible. They don't look terrible, I could live with the lower spoiler and grille which look great, and the tailights which are somewhat dissappointing, but I think what kills the design is the headlights. Everything looks great but the headlights make the front end look awkward. Also the wheels were 2002-2005 sport pkg wheels and looked decent, much better than some of the base B7 wheels I have seen. All of this being said, I would gladly give up my B6 for the improved chassis and engine of the B7. I would imagine that it isn't going to be much longer until we see the B7's in dealership because they are making their way across the Atlantic as we speak.

I was just at the dealer last week pricing out an '05 ultrasport and the dealer said he had just gotten out of a meeting where they were all told that AOA was going to hold all the B7's at port until april.
he said the reasoning was that they didnt want what happened with the A6 to happen again. Meaning lots full of B6's while simultaneously selling B7's. he said they want to make sure the majority of the B6's are sold first.

Default That seems to be the case for a select few dealers out there...

The dealers in my area, and many others in the region, have a very small selection of B6 A4's in stock. I do not know how long they are going to be able to go without beginning to stock the B7's. It seems highly unlikely that the ports will be clogged with B7's for the next few months from several standpoints, especially economically. Remember it costs them money to have the vehicles sit there. The reason that the dealer told you that was probably because he wanted to unload an ultrasport and not consider a B7.
