Just had it done on my car. I wanted the 50% heat reduction and didn't want to mess with the piggies. I like the look. Very OEM. From certain angles it looks darker, and from others, you can't tell there is tint on the front windows. Cuts down on the heat greatly. If anyone was thinking of doing this, I would say go for it!

Too dark on a black and it starts to look flat. I like seeing just a bit of the interior to help keep things a bit more visually interesting.
Well done, dude.

I thought about Huper but elected to go with another type of film. The tint shop (Campbell Tinting in Huntington Beach) had huper but advised me that sometimes you get "ghosting" (oil on water look) with nano-ceramic films when applied to curved windows so I went with another brand, 30% on all sides and 20% on the rear.
Your's looks really good.

...you won't be disappointed. I went w/ 35% all-around on my 07 RS4. You'll immediately notice how much cooler your interior will be in the warmer months.
I ended up taking my car into NYC to have installed as the number of Huper installers in NJ is small and you really need someone who is trained by the company...as I'm told it's not a very easy material to work with. Your S4 looks great. |
